Description
Here we have a 1954 Triumph Tiger 110 650cc pre-unit with
matching engine and frame numbers. I am assisting with the sale for a neighbour.
As you can see it is in lovely condition. It is mechanically very good too having had a full magneto and mechanical rebuild several years back in the previous ownership.
It starts first time and rides really well. (A video of starting and running can be emailed if required). The ‘Iron Head’ 650cc is renown for being a good reliable torquey motor that can be ridden leisurely but also turn a good turn of speed if required. Factory tested at 110mph hence their model name. It is also very economical too. And of course being a ‘historic vehicle’ there is no vehicle tax to pay or mots required.
The bike is as he bought it, requiring nothing in his four year ownership but routine service. At some point someone has done a first class restoration and the paintwork, chrome, alloy etc are all excellent and it looks as new. It certainly gets lots of attention when out for rides.
It comes complete with various Triumph books, manuals and the previews owners mots and fastidious service book recorded notes.
Unfortunately though with new work commitments it is not getting used as it was and having used and enjoyed the bike for four years he has decided to sell and upgrade his car.
