Description

BSA A7SS. Tidy bike that is ready to ride. New concentric carb and fuel taps recently fitted, has Goldie clocks fitted and clubman type bars (original handlebars included if you wanted to swap back for a more upright position), alloy rims and good tyres. Newish girling rear shocks. TLS brake which has been properly set up and works well. Some clutch work last year. Starts very easily. Paintwork is from an older restoration and not the original green. I’ve ridden the bike rather than showing it, so not been too worried about things like the painted tank. Some bubbling to paintwork on the toolbox for example if you look closely. Still looks smart but could be improved cosmetically if you were so inclined, or just ride and enjoy. Some spares included such as a toolbox, clutch assembly and some bits and pieces. I’ve removed the centre stand as it was not the easiest to use, but there if you wanted to put it back on. A bit of interesting history with bike. I purchased the bike nearly 3 years ago after researching what would be an easy to live with classic Brit bike. Having got it properly sorted, it has been a great bike. Sounds great, not so many vibes as the larger capacity twins and plentiful spares to maintain. But I have a couple of other ‘classic’ bikes to keep me occupied so I wanted to see if there was interest out there for a reasonably priced A7SS. Purchased via the National Motorcycle Museum from John ‘Mooneyes’ Cooper who restored the bike originally.
