Description
This is a 1938 True Barn find MG TA. Purchased from a village not far from Abingdon and had been sitting in the Barn for over 40 years with 2 other MG TA's.
It has no V5 and has a repaired chasis and cannot be validated by MG authorities at at this time but I am approaching the DVLA to obtain the V5 , therefore I have two option i am selling as a donor car or for parts at £4500 or if I can obtain the original or replacement registration as detailed within the pics i would be looking at £7500.
The chasis is in good order. The car has been completely stripped down, this will save hours of breakdown time. It has 95% of its parts , only missing major items such as speedo, rev counter and heelboard. The originsl TA engine and gearbox will need complete restoration and there is a frist crack in the exgaust side water jacket which will need stitching. The diff will also need restoration. It has some new parts such as complete exhaust, water thermostat housing and cooling pipes. Has original side screens and hood plus rebuilt wheels by a well known UK company using original Dunlop rims and hubs.
