EXTERIOR & PAINTWORK
This low mileage G60 presents beautifully in gleaming Gloss Black. Free from any swirl marks or notable defects the paintwork still looks really fresh and appears in exquisite condition throughout, the very minor negatives to report being some light frontal stone chips that we have left untouched. Looking along both sides the panels are straight and true, and having clearly been garaged all its life there’s no evidence of corrosion in any of the common weak spots. The bumpers are entirely scuff-free front and rear, and the lights are all clear with no signs of any moisture ingress. A stunning unmodified example in excellent original condition. Supplying dealer number plates complete the finish.
INTERIOR & TRIM
Much like the exterior, the inside of this Corrado is absolutely first-rate with no signs of any major wear. Both front sports seats remain in fantastic sag-free condition, even the driver’s bolster which in this case hints at only very light use. Headlining excellent sag-free. There are no cracks on the dash and the switchgear is unmarked throughout; the original Leather steering wheel and Leather gear knob are also in good order only age related wear to report. A fully functional button to raise and lower the electric rear spoiler, in the footwells you’ll find a new perfect set of floor overmats & the original Corrado overmats. The rear seats are also unmarked, Even the boot area is spotless and the parcel shelf undamaged; the factory options sticker is also still present and correct on the inside of the rear panel.
ENGINE & RUNNING GEAR
Volkswagens PG inline four-cylinder 8v engine G-Lader 'Supercharger' displacing 1781cc needs little introduction with power output of 160bhp and 225Nm of torque quoted. A top speed of 140mph is very impressive and 0-62mph is achieved in just 7. 5 seconds. The engine bay itself is beautifully clean and fastidiously detailed even down to the under-bonnet insulation which is as new. In perfect mechanical condition, the driving experience is second to none with features such as a genuine VW electronically extending rear spoiler raising at higher speeds working as it should. The 5-speed sports gearbox is positive and is a joy to use.
This lovely G60 has just undergone a substantial mechanical overhaul the invoices totalling in excess of £2500 completed on 13th January 2024 at 113, 062 miles by a very reputable VW specialist, who also carried out a pre-emptive suspension rebuild. Fully Listed below.
Lifting the bonnet is a real treat for the enthusiast with an exceptionally well presented and highly original engine bay. Looking closely there are no signs of any corrosion, accident damage or previous repair. In order to maintain the original look of the engine components. The Rocker Cover was removed and cosmetically refreshed being fully powder coated in the correct colour. There's a invoice from VW for a brand new SUPERCHARGER this being replaced around 88, 000 miles. Only change carried out is to the upgrade of a Stainless Steel Exhaust System & Alpine f/ o CD stereo.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Dealer fitted optional 15" SEBRING alloys are highly sought after additions and look sensational with immaculate VOLKSWAGEN centre caps.
