Description
1971 Teal Blue Traveller
Tilly is a well-loved & reliable teal blue Morris Minor Traveller. We bought her in 2015 from a friend (who had her lovingly restored & garaged).
She was used as an everyday car for many years as well as a show car for Morris Minor and other classic car events, although now garaged stored and only occasionally driven.
Regrettable sale as we need the garage space, but fingers crossed she finds a loving home.
Beautiful condition with all original wood & mostly original Limeflower interior; new parcel shelf & new-ish carpet. As the traveller was produced in the final year of production, 1971, it has the steering rack lock as factory finished. And for added security a “secret switch” has been fitted to isolate the battery.
She was restored by Ian Allen of Minor Services around 12 years ago, when she was resprayed in the original Teal Blue colour using 2pac paint.
The 1098cc engine has been converted to run on unleaded petrol. She also has a Bluetooth radio/ sound system.
68168 miles on the clock (which is correct as far as we can figure), has a comprehensive history file Comes with a Haynes manual & some spares.
