Description
Having had a bare metal restoration in the late 90's the car is finished in the rare colour of Black Tulip and is trimmed in Lime Flower velour. Period features such as a full length Webasto style sunroof, Lucas driving lamps, Moto-Lita wood rimmed steering wheel, Minilite style wheels and a Branz distance recorder have been fitted. The car has taken part in many organised driving tours both at home and overseas and finished 2nd in the road class of this year's 100th Lands End Trial. In my ownership the MG has been treated to a new radiator and oil cooler, rear telescopic shock absorber conversion, 3/ 4" anti roll bar, four recent Goodyear Efficiency Grip tyres, a complete LED bulb change including dash and interior, solid state fuel pump, colour co-ordinating inertia reel seat belts and a retro look Bluetooth radio. The car has previously been lowered and benefits from uprated front shock absorbers. I regularly travel between North Devon and Sussex in the MGB and was invited to display her in a GRRC breakfast club at Goodwood in the MG 100th year celebration display. Drives exactly as it should with everything working correctly. Only selling due to unforeseen family circumstances. The MG is accompanied with lots of previous history and invoices including photos of the restoration and an excellent MOT record.
