Not your prestine show piece a real 1955 D Series Rapide in original condition with Avon Sports Sidecar, full matching numbers bought through the Vincent Spares Company. 2 owners from new 3 counting his wife before me, last owner who had the bike from 1960 until 2014. She is in good running order a brass plate on front mudguard reading Mike Creamer rebuilds so imagine work was done before stored by the last tax disc Dec 1973. A shame to restore as it's as it should be 69 years old bike with scratches dinks and patina never to be replaced by restoring. Sidecar was added in 1960 when the long term owner bought it and make Watsonian had confirmation from the company. Around 150 D Series Rapides were made . A Portsmouth original registration number the old logbook and letter from the Vincent Spares Company receipt of sale.
