1973 Mark 1 Triumph Stag, Manual with overdrive
A matching number car in exceptional condition which has been very well cared for with no expense spared in its upkeep. The car colour is Sienna and is rust and blemish free and has a Tan interior and matching soft top which complements the paintwork and is in perfect condition. The hood frame works easily and allows the hood to be put up and down with ease. The plastic rear screen is totally clear. The hard top is superb with a great headlining and new chrome trim all round and with locking handles working well.
Original V8 engine in perfect condition with no problems what so ever, happy to potter around town at 30mph or stretch its legs on longer journeys. Excellent gearbox, clutch and overdrive all working as it should. Under the car the floors, chassis and sill are all solid.
MOT certificate shows the car has only covered 6, 000 miles in the last ten years. Oil pressure on start up is 75psi and 60 psi on a warmed up engine. All the chrome work around the car is in lovely condition. Stainless steel exhaust gives the car a great sound. The car is shod with Michelin tyres and have only done 4000 miles. The wheel rims have been refurbished and have locking wheel nuts. As can be seen it has a walnut dash and a wood rimed Moto-lita steering wheel the original will go with the car. The interior is very nice with good seat covers and foam support, the door furflex trim has been replaced. A wind deflector is included in the sale. Under the bonnet is very clean with a Piranha electronic ignition system with sports coil, fuel pump, Battery, ignition leads with heat shield covers and brake master cylinder. The lights have been uprated to Halogen. new front calipers fitted. New high torque starter motor. The car comes with two sets of keys.
