Offered to the market, is this utterly original & highly desirable Lancia Fulvia Coupe 1. 3 Series 3 (818-630). This is an Italian home market 1975 model with a matching numbers 1298cc motor, being UK tax exempt & comes fully UK registered, with the original Italian log book.
It has only had 2 Italian owners and 2 UK owners. It was sold to its first UK owner back in July 2017 after being imported. It has a mileage of only 28, 387 KM (17, 638 miles) from new. This is confirmed as genuine by the long-term Italian owner. The car speaks for itself, wearing the original factory colour in Mirabello Beige & the original factory under seal in the wheel arches & on the undercarriage.
The vehicle was registered from new locally in Matera on 1st August 1975 as noted in the original log book, wearing the registration number ‘MT 58490’. The car then resided in Matera for 42 years, The owner, Francesco had attended many Classic Club Italia events in Basilicata with the Fulvia.
The floors & wheel arches are all factory correct & original in preserved out of the box condition with the original Lancia factory paint covered in removable underseal to preserve the original finish. The boot floor, another known trouble spot, is also in excellent preserved condition with its original Mirabello Beige stonechip.
The Nero interior is all factory correct & looks much as new with very light wear commensurate with the miles, complemented by the original factory Verdi carpet set. This seems totally correct & the car appears as it left the factory & drives nice & tightly as I can only image a new Fulvia did in 1975. This is a real find & a true time warp, unrestored example.
It retains the original matching V4 cylinder 1298cc engine, with twin Solex carbs, mated to a dogleg 5 speed gearbox.
Can come with spare steel wheels with 'as new' tyres.
In September 2021 it had its first UK MOT naturally with no advisories. The car can be supplied with 12 months MOT if required by the new owner
When I purchased the car from a well-known Fulvia specialist in 2021, they had fitted a new Varta battery, NGK plugs, oil filter & air filter.
The vehicle comes with a history file & contains: UK V5C, Original Italian log book, original Italian ACI document, Past UK MOT, Photos showing car in Italy whilst with Francesco in Matera & also at home with its first UK owner in his garage. The car has been garage stored in the UK since it has been imported.
The car has been maintained by a local Lancia specialist and parts have been sourced from Omicron and Ricambio. They offer invaluable advice and experience on running these Italian classics.
