PORSCHE 993 CARRERA RS 3. 8 300CV 1996 - The 993 Carrera RS 3. 8 was launched/ presented at the Amsterdam Motor Show in February 1995. Lighter, faster and more aggressively styled than the other 993s, it was a "Lightweight" (at a spartan 1, 280kg), more Radical and Competition-orientated version of the 993 Carrera. With excellent looks and handling, front flaps, a light, non-retractable rear spoiler and 18" "Speedline" three-spoke wheels. The modifications to the front of the body, together with the aileron and lower ground clearance, not only created the distinctive aggressive appearance, but also reduced aerodynamic drag to almost zero. It is powered by the famous 3. 8L naturally aspirated Flat-six engine with forged pistons, delivering 300bhp, mated to a G50/ 31 6v manual gearbox. The brakes were drilled and ventilated with four-piston callipers from the 993 Turbo. It was only produced for two years, from 1995 to 1996. Production was restricted to just 969 examples in LHD format. The 993 Carrera RS went down in history as the most powerful air-cooled aspirated 911 ever built. It has the code C00, European version, was sold and delivered new to Germany in 06/ 1996, and was acquired by a Portuguese man in 12/ 2005.
It comes with an exhaustive history in 2 files over all these years, with all the inspection sheets, revision/ intervention invoices, purchase invoices, owners' register, as well as all the manuals, revision book and respective folders.
