The Lancia Fulvia 1972 Coupe 1300 S (Tipo 818) is a car produced by Lancia between 1963 and 1976. Named after the Via Fulvia, the Roman road that ran from Tortona to Turin, it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 and manufactured in three variants: Berlina, a four-door saloon, Coupé, a two-door saloon, and Sport, an alternative fastback coupé designed and built by Zagato on the Coupé floor. Body design was carried out by designer Piero Castagnero and structural development by engineer Aldo Castagno The Fulvias are known for their role in motorsport history, including a 1972 victory in the International Rally Championship. The Fulvia Model was described as "a car of precision, an engineering tour de force. Despite being a front-wheel drive car, it dominated the world rally championship, winning several races with Sandro Munari and Mario Manucci, Amilcare Ballestrieri and other notable drivers. With the Fulvia, Lancia created its iconic racing team, the HF (High Fidelity) Squadra Corsa, with legendary chief mechanic Cessare Fiorio.
Interior finishes of class and elegance with an obsessive design for detail: with wooden accents, independent Jaeger dials, sports seats, refined dashboard with featured clock and chrome elements in the interior. The car in question is a 1972 Serie 2 with a magnificent colour combination of Agnano blue exterior and Camel interior. It has undergone a recent restoration and is in magnificent condition. Mechanically, this specimen is powered by a 1300cc V4 engine with 90bhp, capable of reaching a top speed of close to 170km/ h. The bodywork has a good weight distribution of just 900kg .
