Alfa 75 2. 0 twinspark. Low mileage!
Some recent work in 2024 includes -
Brand new Bosch fuel pump AND in tank pump!
The valve stem seals needed replacing, so these were done alongside a new head gasket, new engine mounts and various other gaskets. Oil and filter changed with Valvoline 20w50 . Fresh coolant and a new expansion tank cap.
A few tasteful modifications -
• Momo steering wheel
• CSC exhaust with resonated centre section and tubular steel manifold. A nice improvement from the cast iron manifold that came as standard on the twin sparks.
• Oil cooler kit with thermostat.
• Pioneer radio and cd player
• Superflex front castor bushes
• 14” revolution wheels with Falken tyres , stainless wheel nuts and the spare wheel with tool kit in the boot.
I replaced the front grille with one from an earlier Alfa 75 as I think the grey added a nice bit of contrast. However I’ve included the newer style red grill with the car should you prefer that.
Inside the car, the seats are in brilliant condition. All the instruments work apart from the rear windows. They don’t seem to have any power going to them! I didn’t spend too much time investigating this as it didn’t really bother me.
Body wise, it’s a solid car with fair paintwork. It’s not a show car by any stretch, But still gets plenty of thumbs up while driving about!
Used it during the summer and then stored in my garage ever since it’s Mot in September.
This really is a great car to drive. Lovely 50/ 50 weight distribution. Comfortable seating position, and the fantastic Alfa twin cam soundtrack. A really useable classic.
