Around £5000 spent in the last couple of months by me to make this car a stunning example and over the years a further £13k spent at the SL Shop! Work I’ve done included refurbished rear brake calipers with discs and pads and new fuel pump. New ovp relay. New old style Blaupunkt Bremen dab stereo with Bluetooth which really suits car. Automatic hirschmann aerial. Top of the range back in the day speakers fitted to rear.

Mr Lewis kept this car for seventeen years to 2014 when it was acquired by the last keeper (who was also a W9 resident)

Accompanying this car is the Mercedes Benz Maintenance Booklet showing the car was supplied by Macclesfield Garages - the Pre-delivery Inspection Stamp being present and then at 1, 500 miles and 6, 000 miles by the same. There are then seven Mercedes Benz Main Dealer stamps recorded to 43, 000 miles in 2000; this includes four at Normand Mercedes in London.
In 2014 when the keeper of the time acquired the car he immediately consigned his newly acquired SL to the known marque experts for a comprehensive overhaul, the invoices totalling over £8, 000 for this overhaul are on file, the job list was exhaustive and included full corrosion investigation with age-related deterioration addressed including inner cavity wax, new tyres, new engine mountings, new soft top, engine and gearbox service.
Again in 2016, the SL Shop carried out further maintenance to include a new heater and exhaust. Additionally, the large file that accompanies the car has numerous invoices for maintenance work.
Previous owner paid £38k for this beautiful car so now an absolute bargain!

I purchased her a few months ago having just sold my previous SL and having sellers remorse but unfortunately our circumstances have changed drastically so unfortunately she needs to go.
