Becoming very rare to find a solid example and in white.
I have owned this car for around 3 years and I use it pretty much every day other than winter when I store her in my unit. During my ownership I have done the following.
3 services (one being a major service including fresh coolant)
New timing belt kit, water pump and hydraulic tensioner.
New fuel pump
Replaced sunroof mechanism
Rocker cover gasket
New exhaust (front pipe, CAT and middle section)
Complete offside mirror
Front end painted due to a lot of stone chips on the bonnet
The bodywork is in great condition with only minor marks and the odd minor dent.
The underside is also in great condition, rock solid, no rot. (video available)
She drives lovely, it’s a really straight honest car and is in my opinion the best colour for this car.
The previous owner owned this car for 19 years.
The car comes with the original book pack and service book.
Bad Points
Has had a minor oil leak from the back of engine ever since I’ve owned it.
The rev counter doesn’t work which has never really bothered me.
The clutch release bearing is a little noisy and has been since I bought it. The biting point is perfect.
The headlight washer jets don’t work.
The windscreen has a fair amount of tiny chips.
The aftermarket stereo eats CD’s
The sunroof has a minor leak but only occasionally.
Still using every day so the mileage will increase but only very slightly.
To sum up, she’s not concourse and won’t win any shows but is an excellent useable modern classic in great condition.
