Toyota MR2 Mk2 Rev 5 T-Bar 1998 NA 2. 0GTi. 16 Manual - UK spec & located
Reluctantly I am looking at selling my RoadRunner (Meep Meep), as it's currently my only car and it's a bit limiting because I'm so precious of it. She's never hesitated to start on a dime, and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Kept as original as humanly posible.
Just a smidge under 100k miles, she's a Rev 5 (hence the Rev 5 spoiler), and I do have the Rev 5 wheels (although one is damaged) that will come with the car too.
Been kept in a garage and avoided driving in any wet weather, and lanoguard on the underside (the brown you can see on the sills is lanoguard underseal too).
Interior:
- Fitted with touchscreen head unit with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, but I do have the original cassette player and 2nd din cover.
- Leather worn on outer bolster on driver's seat, fairly easy to sort out.
- Original MR2 floor mats
- Original ash tray and cigarette lighter
- Original T-bar sleeves / fabric bags
Exterior:
- Paintwork in generally great shape given the age. Only real paint wear is on the tip of the bonnet (see pictures).
- Paint could use a waxing / maybe even PPF to keep it in great shape.
- Rear bumper is cracked but no plastic missing (thanks to someone reversing low-speed into her).
Engine:
- Currently fitted with a K&N intake, although like everything I have the original intake too.
- No noises at all other than the beautiful roar when you put your foot down.
Misc:
-Original manual and lots of paperwork for everything done to her.
-MOT until July 2025, never been really difficult to get a pass.
- Oil changed in June 2024
- Original Toyota tool kit and scissor jack.
- 2 Keys, 1 Fob for the central locking (which still works!)
- New catalytic converter in July 2023

£6, 500 ONOAbsolutely love this car, and really want to sell it to someone who will appreciate it and look after it. On a warm day with the roof off and the roar of the engine, there’s nothing else I’d sooner be doing.
I can’t really afford to run 2 cars and I need a more daily-able car so unfortunately she’s gonna have to go.
