Austin Heavy 12/ 4 Windsor 1927 Narrow track model with the long stroke engine. Recognised to be most sort of after version of the Windsor from the appearance and specification perspective.
This very original example presents really well as can be seen in the photographs. It is used almost every week and was last painted about 18 years ago so is not a "Trailer Queen" Best described as being in excellent condition in all respects. Starts first time, from cold or hot, maintains correct oil pressure at all times and does not overheat. Benefits from a recently overhauled gearbox this work included fitting a clearly low mileage set of gears together with new bearings etc. Other recent improvements include the fitting a magneto/ coil conversion also flashing turn indicators and the fitting of all lamps with LED bulbs. Rides an drives really well and the road wheels have the benefit of being fitted with excellent Blockley Tyres which are really suited to the car
