Description
An excellent example, of a 968 Sport (Club Sport).
Full Service History (Porsche and Specialists) and HPI clear.
This car has been maintained, well above average, with over £20k spent, in the last 6 years.
I have a large A4 folder, with all invoices, 2 keys and factory immobiliser fobs, along with owners wallet and handbooks.
Clean MOT history and only 5 owners, in 30 years!
New clutch, flywheel, gearbox rebuild and new Quaife LSD.
Belts were done, 2 years ago, along with a full service. Recently, it’s had an oil service and brake fluid change.
The colour is very rare, Aventurine Green and only 306 968 Sports, were sold world wide, from 1993-1995! That makes it rarer, than the Club Sport, that was sold Worldwide in LHD and RHD guise. The Sport, only ever offered to the UK market.
The front brakes have been upgraded to 964 turbo items, for superior stopping power, otherwise, the car is in original condition.
This 968 Sport drives extremely well, as you would expect, it has the feel of a late 80’s/ 90’s car, inside. Yet, drives and handles, exceeding your expectations!
The registration is included, as are the Recaro style, ‘Pole Position’ seats, close to the asking price. The original Sport comfort seats, are included and are in excellent condition.
In my eyes, this is an under the radar, 968 Club Sport (same chassis, same power, same ride height and handling)!
The Club Sport will cost you another £10-15k, for a very similar car! I also believe for this money, these cars are still under valued.
These cars were built at the time of the 911/ 993, when Porsche engineering and reliability, were at their peak!
Last of the amazing Transaxle cars, from Porsche and sure to be very collectible in years to come. (If you want something different, that you won’t see at most events and shows, you turn up in, this is the car!). In my 2 year ownership, it’s had occasional weekend use, on dry days, to various car events and shows.
The 968 is always garaged and insured on a limited mileage Classic Policy (£135 a year!), as Porsches go, the Transaxle cars are much cheaper to run than a 911 or a Boxster/ Caymam, yet still give you performance and the nostalgia of owning a Porsche, performance car.

Being a massive Porsche fan, from a young age, I always wanted a 968 Club Sport (it won Performance Car of the year, in 1992, at launch!) It was regarded as one of the best handling cars out there!
