Part of a private collection and now available for the next custodian, my 1985. 1 square dash Porsche 944 Lux 2. 5 in very rare Crystal Green Metallic, (CGM). This colour was only available in 1985 & 1986 for Porsche 944 & 911.
'Penny' as she's affectionately know by the family, has been fastidiously maintained and no expense spared throughout her ownership with us.
67k miles, all documented by its MOT history over the years, a genuine barn / garage find sat for 20 years hence the low milage, found by the previous owner. I carried out a light restoration when I bought her, all new rubbers, engine mounts, cambelt, water pump and gasket, fan belt, all fluids, new radiator and thermostat, full major service, sump gasket, front oil seals, new steering rack, shocks replaced all round, anti roll bars, lower arms etc all painted and re-bushed. Wheels refurbished to factory original, painted and hand polished, (cookie cutters).
All new fuses and light bulbs throughout, (everything works), rubber seals on the electric sunroof and boot, (no leaks).
New headlining, seats and interior reupholstered in original Porsche script material (£800 per m/ sq, over £3. 2k of material), all professionally done by an upholsterer.
There no rust on the car and all sills etc. are original and solid, only ever used in the summer and dry conditions.
The only non original part is the turbo rear splitter that's been fitted at some point in its life before me and stainless Danske exhaust.
Trying finding another one not only with this low milage and condition, but in this colour as well. There's only x3 others I've managed to find via the Owners clubs in the UK and I've never seen another in the flesh or for sale since I've owned her.
Prices will only climb for low milage, genuine clean examples of Porsches.
It always turns heads at shows and gets a lot of lovely comments.
August 2025 she will become Tax, MOT & ULEX exempt at 40 years old.
There is a huge folder full of receipts, proving all the restorations works mentioned.
My intention has always been to keep her as part of my collection, but a desire for a new toy, means I need to part with one to help fund another.
Nation wide delivery is possible at cost and can be discussed separately if required.
Test drives, unless you're fully insured with proof, will be by the owner.
Viewings welcomed by serious buyers, no tyre kickers. No PX's or swaps thanks.
The private plate B 7OUE is not part of the sale, the original reg of C522 XLN will be put back on.
