Description

1960 Moto Guzzi Falcone Tourismo. It came from Germany directly to me at a shipping cost of £1500 by Chas Mortimer.
New period tyres have been fitted. The front brake has just had new linings fitted and will need bedding in.
The magneto was stripped and a new coil and condenser installed. A small modern gel 6v battery is inside the large casing.
It has completed 526 kilometres since registering with the DVLA, the Replica speedo is driven by the proper telescopic drive.
She runs fine and is a pleasure to ride, my problem is that at 84 I struggle kickstarting it now, despite a valve lifter which helps a lot. My slightly younger friends ( late 70's) start it with one kick, it sucks getting old.
Please come and inspect it and see it running. It is in Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire. LN12 2JB
It is probably the only Tourismo available in the U. K. on sale now.
It is of course registered as an historic vehicle. This is a Tourismo, not a Sport although fitted with aluminium rims, the Sport has them as standard.
