Description
My 1998 Lotus Elise S1 is metallic racing green with tan leather interior. It has had only 3 previous owners and comes with a huge history file. It has a MoT until June 2025 with no advisories. The mileage is just 37, 917.
Following last year’s MoT it had new rear uprights with tow links and outer CV joints at £2, 500. More recently it has had a complete brake overhaul with new discs and pads at the front and new calipers, pads and hoses at the rear. It has an EliseParts gear linkage kit which greatly improves the gear change, S2 dampers and springs by Bilstein and Eibach and a Larini stainless steel sports exhaust. Included with the car is an unused Larini stainless steel exhaust manifold, EliseParts short throw gear lever (I prefer the standard Lotus one), workshop manual and complete parts list. Also included is a set of suspension bushes, ball joints, etc. which came with the car when I bought it and haven’t been needed. It has a factory fitted Cobra alarm and immobiliser. It’s always been garaged by me and the previous owner.
A lovely car which I will miss immensely. But I’m now well into my 70s and have been smitten by an Aston Martin Vantage V8. Need I say more.
I’m near Junction 6 on the M25.
