According to many collectors, the Series II is the most attractive of them all because of the short wheelbase and the high scoop on the bonnet.
The car was sold new to the Swedish race driver Mr. Oscar Swan. The car was fitted with Speed pilot and Mr Swan took the car straight from the factory to the start of the Tulip rally in 1960, the car overheated so it went back to the factory for bigger oilcooler and started in the Tulip rally again in 1961. All documentation, startlists etc comes with the car.
In 2011 a long restoration started with nothing untuched. The orginal engine is upgraded to 4 liter and now has Weber 48 carburettors.
Upgrade included rebuilt rearaxel, new Borrani wheels, electric power steering, upgraded breaks etc. The interior is the original with exelent patina. The restoration is documented with photos and bills.
In May 2024 the car did the Tulip rally once again with no problems and now has had a complete service and is ready for any adventure.
