Reluctantly parting with my beloved mx-5 as we prepare for our first child. This car has been a joy to own and drive, perfect for those who appreciate the pleasure of driving without breaking the speed limit or the bank. The 1. 6L engine is the pick of the bunch in my opinion as it revs so freely. It is coupled with a chrome exhaust, grille and roll bars.
The car is in great mechanical condition, with a recent MOT and service, and it comes with a partial service history. The exterior and interior are in good condition for a car of this vintage, with no damage or deterioration to the fabric roof. However, some minor surface rust has formed on the rear far side sill over the past few months as shown. Three years ago the rusted front chassis rails were professionally cut out and replaced and I can provide photos of the work if required.
A matching hardtop with protective storage case is available for an additional £400. This mx-5 is a driver's car through and through and I'll be sad to see it go. 9 previous owners. Next MOT due 28/ 05/ 2025, part service history, 1 key, Dark Blue.
