Owned since 2010 - all parts have been replaced with genuine Mercedes items with receipts.
Car was restored in 2018 including new wings and a rear screen (Mercedes), at the same time the top end was rebuilt - head gasket, injectors and seals, valve guides, plug wires, new cam chain etc. I have also replaced the water pump, fuel pumps, radiator and a lot more than I can remember.
The car is still in very good condition with no visible rust and just needs a machine polish as there are few small scratches that let it down. The interior is all there and would need a good clean - The wood veneer needs attention and unfortunately both seat bases have tiny splits in them. I did have the driver seat restored due to bolster wear. I would also recommend that the rear screen be replaced or removed and refitted. I did have this replaced during the restoration but unfortunately, the fitter did not use a new seal, this has now caused the rear screen to delaminate. The driver side rear window has stopped working - I haven't looked into this so could be either the switch or motor.
Please feel free to do an MOT history check - the car has always had anything it needed. This model is an early 24 valve so has a slightly higher output compared to the later 24 valves as it is non-cat. With the AMG extras, it makes this car even rarer and more sought after. It drives spot on and has plenty of power. Only selling as I no longer have anywhere local to store this car. It has been a real labour of love and will be sad to see it go.
