I am selling 1992 Land Rover Discovery 1 200Tdi in good condition, registered as an ASI historic car. The car is subject to an annual vignette of only €30 and benefits from reduced insurance. In recent years, numerous maintenance and repair work has been carried out to restore the vehicle to its original condition, including: 2021: Replacement of starter motor, filter kit, timing belt, steering damper, manifold work and oil change. Installation of new tyres and replacement of windscreen wiper blades. 2022: Alternator replacement, interior sanitisation, replacement tailgate hinges, power steering repair and fitting new headlights. 2023: Starter motor cleaning, replacement front left headlight and side indicators. 2024: Installation of new EXIDE battery, replacement starter motor and ignition switch. I bought this 1992 Land Rover Discovery 1 200Tdi because I was looking for a vehicle that combined robustness, history and vintage charm. This model has the distinction of being one of the first truly off-roaders capable of tackling any terrain, thanks to its permanent four-wheel drive and the 200Tdi engine, renowned for its reliability and durability. This Discovery is an original, very well preserved version, with a definite history of owners who have maintained its integrity over time. It comes with a host of optionals including two sunroofs, mudguards and 5 doors not always available on versions of that era. Plus an extraordinary and unique Caracal black colour. This makes it an ideal basis for a conservative restoration project as, although it is in excellent condition, there is still some work to be completed to bring it back to its full splendour (e. g. restoring the air conditioning). My favourite thing about this car is its ability to adapt to any situation: from everyday driving to the most demanding off-road driving. It is a vehicle that not only tells a story, but is also ready to write new ones with those who will have the pleasure of driving it.
