Yamaha FZR400. 1989. G571AVL. CRMC Registered.
I originally bought 2 of these machines and built this bike as my first race bike in 2020.
I competed a full season with the CRMC in 2021.
It was retired at the end of the season, as the engine was becoming noisy. I fitted the spare replacement engine from the other bike. (27, 000 km).
The bike was put back on the road with a daytime MOT.
Much money has been spent as can be seen from the images. It is a unique build and gets a lot of attention.
I'm currently racing a ZXR400 and this will no longer be used due to other projects and space required.
Will make someone a great classic daytime road bike or first race bike if you want to have a go at racing or track days. The replacement engine is super quiet and powerful and probably better than the one I raced with.
The spare engine comes with bike, but it is slightly noisy and will require attention, but great for spares. Unique classic race, track or road bike.
Much money spent.
Goes extremely well.
