Description
Factory Black manual RHD U. K. spec car delivered to Porsche Centre Hong Kong (Jebsen Porsche) in January 1990, and imported to the U. K. in 1998 with photos. It was spec’d with Air Conditioning and decat delete, and imported with cup wheels and mirrors. The car has driven 193, 000km (about 120, 000 miles) although speedo is in mph.
The car has been used and well maintained by RGA Porsche in London and Jaz Porsche St Albans in its most recent years. The car hasn’t has an engine rebuild but it has had some other restorative work completed including metal/ paint/ interior/ wheels. In 2021 it had metalwork and paint restored by the well renowned Sportswagen with full photos of the before and after. Summer 2024 the interior was also retrimmed in black by leading porsche interior specialists Southbound Trimmers. Other recent work includes the wheels restored by Alloyart and new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres. Karmann Konnection also overhauled a few smaller items and BS Motorsport replaced a couple of oil lines and did an oil change. Hertz speakers were also added front and rear under factory grills. The car has been adjusted to RS type ride height. AC system works as it should after Sportswagen fixed it in 2021. Original service books are complete with the car and I had Jebsen Porsche dealer stickers recreated. The original steering wheel and a correct Blaupunkt SQR88 stereo will come with the car.
Whilst the paint was new in 2021, the car could do with a compound to remove some swirls/ scratches on the bonnet and a pin dent needs removing with PDR (paintless dent removal) on the rear quarter. The rear spoiler unit is a bit temperamental but a cheap unit replacement swap is available on eBay.
Private registration to be removed prior to sale. I only bought the car at the beginning of 2024 with the intent of keeping, however now it’s complete, I am after another car to turn my OCD detailing needs towards restoring. You can view some of my porsche passions on insta @ninedetails
This is a beautiful car that looks, sounds and drives right. I don’t expect it to stick around long. NO offers whatsoever, so please can I politely ask only serious buyers in a position to move at asking to get in touch.
