Welcome to the sale of my 1977 KTM GS6 250 Twinshock
I have had this bike for a few years I have only ever ridden this on the road generally its been on camping trips in the back of my camper.
I bought this bike un registered so I carried out the process of getting it registered. It now has a V5 in my name and is Tax and MOT exempt.
I don't know the true history of this bike how it is today is how I bought it. It has all of its orignal controls and switches the original speedometer is present and working the mileage reads 2650 KM I have no reason to believe it is not correct. The bike is still using genuine KTM brake shoes. The front mudguard has KTM moulded into the plastic so my guess is that the plastics are all genuine. The bike looks like it has done very little work the exhaust is rust and dent free something that is quite rare on a dirt bike. All the lights work and the horn also works.
The engine runs very sweet and sounds very well. It is still using its original motoplat ignition and bing carburettor.
From my own research I believe this to be a 1978 Model year bike the frame plate says 1977 so my guess is that is was sold late 77.
