250hp 1989 with LSD, 5 previous owners (6 in total), excellent mechanical condition, good presentable bodywork. Cat C registered back in 2003 - when 944 values were at their lowest - the car suffered a light front end collision damaging the offside front wing and front bumper (a £5k repair) so the insurer declared it uneconomical to repair.
However, it's an outstanding example which I have owned for 3. 5 years. It has uprated engine map and fuel pressure regulator to 300hp since 2003. I've owned seven 944s over the years and this is a good, usable example. The previous accident has no affect on how the vehicle drives or looks, but due to the Cat C title, it is listed below market value.
It has a huge history file of receipts including many years with Porsche main dealer, which I will list in chronological order as an addition to this description.
MOT until Nov 2024. Engine belts done in 2021. Regularly serviced and kept in top mechanical order. It uses no coolant and shows no mechanical faults - it drives very well with good power and excellent brakes with good gearchange and clutch operation. There are no suspicious noises. The bodywork shows some signs of age and use but is presentable and smart. The interior is excellent with no cracks on the dash, and the seats are in excellent order. The sills had some welding repairs in 2023.
AC is not working - removed from car but all components are present for refitting.
Door mirror electrics not working.
