For sale fully restored 109 S2A Station Wagon; LHD; 2, 25ltr Petrol, 1962 with only 41160km. Originally supplied to Austria in Poppy Red to use as a fire brigade vehicle. First registered 20-5-1962. It had an easy live with only little use.
The vehicle had a full body off restoration with attention to detail and to originality. No modification but build to correct spec as it left the factory. Many new parts like brake cylinders; brake linings; brake pipes and hoses; new shock absorbers; clutch cylinders; exhaust; oil seals; wiring loom; hoses; door seals; window channels etc. Chassis was stripped to bare metal and painted; only welding which was done is the rear crossmember (without extensions); bulkhead and doors never welded. Full respray in 2K to it’s original colour Poppy Red. Original spring loaded seats recovered in Elepahant hide; full interior including doortrims in Elephant hide trim; original roof lining; finished with correct sheradized grey bolts; correct Series 2A side lights and indicators etc. Drives very nice.
Restoration finished in 2020. Driven ca 3000km since. Valuated at €40. 000. Collectors item as not many on the market which are restored with correct details and specification. More pictures on request. On behalf of owner for sale. Price €36. 500
