Cool old Dodge A100 van just in from Arkansas via Texas. A project van. All EU import taxes paid but not yet registered. Selling because I've just bought a house which needs more work than expected and needs sorting before winter (damp!). So no time to work on this van - or the 1969 Chevy G10. But would trade either for a sorted, running 40+ year old van as I'm into American vans.
Very cool old Dodge van. Will make a great cool head turning cruiser when tidied up. Amazingly solid body and frame rails. Door shut great, no rust in doors, rockers (sills), gutters, window openings, roof, etc. Rust patch inside the side cargo door area (probably where people have put wet stuff) and in the driver's floor. Has some very cool features like pop out rear door windows and the big and little Original Cragar SS five spoke wheels with white letter tyres. Does need new glass and seals (all flat glass so easy to get and cut to size) and seals are available. The slant six engine is stuck and has no carb but to be honest you’d be better off putting a good running 318 V8 in it which are easy to find and aren't much money. The automatic transmission is the 727 Loadflite version of the Torqueflite but will probably be fine once gone through with new seals etc. Torqueflites are very rugged. Rolls fine with no knocks, clonks, bonks or grumbles from the wheel bearings or steering. Does need brakes and the interior doing to whatever level you want to and probably wiring. I would also remove the home made 'cooling scoop' in the front of the doghouse and put a proper radiator and electric fan in. It hasn't cut into the front floor and looks like it can remove easily with out too much damage to the front of the doghouse. I have new light lenses for it, just not on in the pictures.
