Welcome to the reluctant sale of my Honda S2000, I have owned this great car since Aug 2017 and I am only the second owner. The original owner took collection in Mar 2000 and kept it in a heated garage. I have also always kept it garaged. Silverstone Silver on black/ red leather interior. I am selling due to decreasing use since having children.
It’s covered 73, 000 miles, MOT which expires in March. Full Service History, a mixture of main dealer and private.
I have carried out all the relevant servicing yearly and I have kept every receipt. The previous owner had it serviced every year without fail at the Honda main dealer.
Work done in my ownership includes - new clutch, new mohair roof with updated glass screen, serviced every year, front callipers from an CH1 Accord Type R(twin pot), brake servo bracket, BC BR Series coil overs professionally installed by JDT in Kent, full alignment set up, UK Mod rear exhaust. I have kept all the original parts so the car can be returned to full standard, was professionally under-seal in clear wax as soon as I bought it.
Interior - this cleans up really nice, the speakers were changed I bought it and it’s still using the original radio. The leather is in great condition and the carpets clean up nicely, there is a small hole in the drives footwell carpet which is covered by the new old stock Honda mats.
Mechanicals - it drives really great, no unwanted noises / clonks. The suspension is easily adjustable, I have it set fairly soft for the horrendous roads in this country. The engine is a gem, no smoke or oil consumption which is rare for an early pre facelift car. The gearbox is really this cars highlight, it is really engaging and direct. Nearly new Michelin PS4 tyres. 16” alloy wheels are pretty much new as the previous owner bought them new from Honda before he sold the car to me. I’ve always used facelift 17” wheels until last year so the current wheels are super clean.
Bodywork - the car presents very well for its age, there is the odd scuff, chip and dent as to be expected. There is a tiny crack in the front bumper under the number frame. There is the tiniest spots of rust showing on one of the arches which I’ve pictured in the advert. The bodywork doesn’t hide anything and is super original and honest, the paint work is very good other than the said niggles and really sparkles in the sunlight when it’s clean.
