Recent Road Trip: We have just got back from a 2000km round trip of France. From the Normandy Beachs down to the South of France, the car turned heads, created smiles and sparked conversation. Although temperatures exceeded 35 degrees the car did not miss a beat. Being honest, I had bought the best breakdown cover imaginable and I was slightly miffed that we didn’t need to use it. Saved by the simplicity of its solid engine and the fact there isn’t much that could go wrong, we sat back in the sun, cruised and had the time of our lives.
Limited Production: From the 19, 000 cabriolets produced between 1970 and 1975, only 836 were right-hand drive. Among these, 592 were the more powerful “S” versions, and currently, less than 26 remain registered for use on UK roads.
