Hello, welcome to my sale of my GYR 150 N 1974 Daimler Double six XJ V12 5. 3 series 2 Auto In lavender blue that has covered just 42, 000 miles from new, this car rolled out the factory on 02/ 12/ 1974 , I’ve owned the car for 5 years & done quite a bit of work to it, it’s just had a full service , the headlining has been done, interior has been treated & refreshed & a full bare metal re spray in 2021 & I have photos
of it being done, both fuel tanks work perfectly have been checked and are all good, The carburettors have all been overhauled with new gaskets needles floats etc , The oil pressure is at 60lb , The chrome is all very good throughout, it has steel chromed wheels with good tyres but are slightly perished now , a very extensive service history pack, even the original service book with 10 stamps in it, lots of old MOT is and thousands of pounds worth of invoices, This car is in absolutely beautiful condition, there is one little bubble that come up on the bottom wheel arch size of a 2p, Water must’ve got under the paint work because there was no rot there at all, this car is very very solid and needed, The radio doesn’t work that well but I assume it’s because the Aerial is not up, next to no welding to the Bodywork Before the respray, I have pictures of it all, The car has been dry stored all its life, This car is in Beautiful condition, it turns heads wherever it goes, I’ve done a couple of weddings in it and it always gets lots of compliments, it drives beautifully, She’s never let me down, if I put it away for the winter months soon as I jump in it it starts straight up, no problems. viewing welcome and encouraged. This is in historic vehicle so MOT and tax exempt , this car deserves to be at the top shows, but I’m just not getting the time, only selling due to trimming down on my collection , collection only auction from Leatherhead Surrey, KT 23 but I can arrange delivery at the buyers cost I have a recommended transporter, I purchased the car five or six years ago from the guy who I used to keep a couple of cars in storage, The mileage is 100% genuine, paperwork back it all up,, the guy told me it’s been Dry stored all his life and going on the condition of the car I’d say that was the case, I’ve spent probably £10, 000 on it myself, on sunny days I just jump in & use it for the day & it’s great.
