Description
Selling my white 72 convertible Beetle 1302 (Registered March 1972). It’s a Paris convertible professionally converted and reinforced. RHD, and had been owned by a wedding car company for the last 5 years until last month and I purchased with a view of using during the summers and keeping in a garage during the winter.
I’m now not going to have storage for the Beetle, due to another project that is now ongoing. I’m gutted, but will be selling on. The Beetle had a nut and bolt restoration in 2014, with many pictures of the restoration.
Has been stored indoors most of the time since the restoration. 57, 880 on the clock. The car doesn’t have service history, but over the past 25 years it has been owned by two owners that restored and maintained the car themselves. The wedding car company that owned it, had their own mechanic and the car was maintained on a regular basis.
The paint is in good condition, some of the pictures the car looks very dusty, these were taken before it had a clean.
It’s a 52 year old car so is a historic vehicle on the v5. Tax is Free and ULEZ exempt. Super cheap insurance. Just serviced, breaks working well and engined tuned and it doesn't miss a beat. Running really well.
The passenger door window has a rattle every now and again over pot holes etc, but I'm informed this can be rectified with some window felt from heritage parts.
This is a 52 year old classic car, whilst it’s in good condition, it is not a modern car and has its quirks and imperfections. Tires are nearly new with limited miles on them. (Including the spare) Has a cd player and rear speakers installed. This car is perfect car for the summer we're having!
Viewing welcomed.
