It’s with a heavy heart that I’m offering my 2005 Porsche Boxster 987 2. 7 (06 Model Year - JH55 FLY) for sale. I’ve owned this beautiful car for just over two years, and it has been nothing short of a joy to drive. Unfortunately, a move to London and the need for regular long-distance commutes has forced me to switch to a more suitable vehicle.
This particular Boxster was the result of a careful search for the right example with a high specification. The car benefits from a stunning Midnight Blue Metallic exterior, complemented by a Grey Leather interior with embossed headrests - timeless and sophisticated colour combination that sets this car apart.
The car’s bodywork is in respectable condition. It received a Stage 2 paint correction and detail when I purchased it, and the paint still gleams beautifully. There are a few age-related imperfections, including a small scuff on the front right bumper. I have the touch-up paint ready but have yet to address it.
Mechanically, this Boxster is sound and ready to be enjoyed. The engine is strong and delivers that unmistakable flat-six roar that us Porsche enthusiasts love. I recently took it out for a drive after being garaged for six months for the annual MOT (which it passed with a few small advisories), and reminded me just how special this car is to drive.
