The Ferrari was bought when it was 5 years old by a company in suffolk from Graypaul motors, Loughborough, with recorded mileage of 11, 271 on 19/ 05/ 95 for the sum of £49, 000 which in today's money is £96, 000 according to the bank of England.
The Ferrari was sold a year later again by Graypaul motors to Mr M Allen of newark on 08/ 03/ 96 with a recorded mileage of 12, 730
The Ferrari was sold again by Graypaul motors to a Mr M O'Neil on 14/ 11/ 97 with a recorded mileage of 14, 576 then the Ferrari was in storage 5 years after the MOT expired.
Always been a beautiful well kept standard Ferrari 348 which once wore the registration D56 DAV back in 2002. The Ferrari remained Hpi clear up until when the D56 DAV registration was taken off when the Ferrari was sold on 12/ 04/ 07 with a mileage of 27, 376.
The gentleman who bought the Ferrari sadly crashed it on 15/ 04/ 07 after just 3 days of ownership, Mileage when logged as cat C was 27, 460
The Ferrari was then rebuilt using genuine parts and made to look like the 355 over another 5 years off the road, then mot'd, returning to the road on 01/ 12/ 12 with mileage 217, 467 which was a typo by the MOT tester. (Checks will state mileage discrepancy because of this typo)
The following MOT on 07/ 04/ 14, the mileage was 28, 900.
The Ferrari was exported to the Isle of man some 3 years later on 13/ 09/ 17 with a recorded mileage of 29, 125 the Ferrari remained unused part of a collection for a several years and returned back to the UK last year. Despite having numerous cambelt changes, it just had another as 10 years is a long time unused.
The Ferrari had engine out service on 28/ 11/ 23 consisting of the following genuine parts from maranello...
132843 Camshaft drive belt
145807 Timing belt pulley
149791 Timing belt pulley
199830 alternator belt
199819 air compressor belt
197654 oil filter
155871 air filter element
152212 fuel filter x2
150180 spark plug a6gc
150078 RH cam cover gasket
150084 LH cam cover gasket
139631 oil tank gasket
154984 exhaust ring X4
340066 wheel caps x4
143275 water pump assembly metal imp. Invoice from maranello present for all the above parts. The Ferrari passed the MOT on 08/ 04/ 24 with zero advisories and recorded mileage of 29, 227. Although its had the engine out service last year with pretty much new everything, the two new fuel filters are yet to be fitted as maranello sent the wrong ones, along with the new alternator belt, these correct parts are included Also comes with 11L Mobil1 oil to change it again. * Please note, this is never going to be a purist's supercar but fab entry level Ferrari ownership!** The paintwork isn't really acceptable for a Ferrari and ideally wants re doing but I'm fussy & that's a decision for the new keeper, it's still bright and shiny for over 30 years old and looks good from a couple metres so could be used as is
This Is a damage repaired Ferrari but still a timeless classic supercar with very low mileage & a fantastic service history. The bonnet lock (rear) wants attention, still locks and unlocks, opens and closes just have to pull a cable at the rear to release the lock
The Ferrari may need a clutch due to slipping slightly at the top end when driven on the motorway coming back from the mot. This could possibly be to being unused for so long. I believe they can be adjusted but probably just as better to replace, straight forward job apparently, very easily accessible at the back of the engine behind the rear bumper. I haven't registered it yet as part of the process is to have the vehicle mot'd and now it has MOT. It can be registered, I have the isle of man logbook to hand and an email from the DVLA confirming there will be no import tax to pay or any hidden surprises due to the Ferrari still on the DVLA databaseComes with original Ferrari leather wallet with all the manuals, keys and a great service history. Remote central locking, original fleece lined ferrari cover that fits snug around the mirrors has some small tares in the fabric at the back but still useable.

Cream leather seats could do with a clean they're over 30 years old but good condition, I would imagine they will come up nice.

Everything works pop up headlights, elec fuel cap, electric windows, removable roof which stows away behind the seats, passenger window bit slow working but it's not been used in a long time. Wheels could do with a refurb to make perfect.

Body could do with a good polish, unfortunately I had to drive it in the rain on the day of the MOT, I had no choice sadly.

300bhp Ferrari 3. 4 V8 rear wheel drive, Not for the inexperienced drivers
