KEY FACTS
This rare Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Razor Edge is a desirable air-cooled classic, which has been enhanced for on-track use with a plethora of sought-after upgrades.
It is powered by a rear-mounted air-cooled race-prepared 1. 6-litre flat-four, now sending a dyno proven 100hp to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
The car has previously been stripped out and fitted with a roll cage, bucket seats and harnesses to create a track-focused example, which is finished in a tasteful hue.
While it has been imported to the UK and is taxes-paid with NOVA clearance on record, it has not yet been road registered here.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This Karmann Ghia is finished in a tasteful silver exterior hue.
Inside, the original dashboard, door cards, and rear seats remain, but the front seats have been replaced with a Sparco bucket seat with Sabelt harness for the driver, and a black bucket seat for the passenger.
A roll-cage was also fitted, the carpets were removed, various toggle switches were added, and a flat three-spoke steering wheel was fitted.
It now rides on 15-inch Porsche steel wheels, with Yokohama semi-slick tyres.
