1979 R100RT in excellent running condition.
The machine was completely stripped and rebuilt by Richard Difazio at his workshop in Frome, Somerset to the highest specification.
Engine: 1050cc. with Venolia pistons, crank dynamically balanced, deep sump, head gas flowed,, twin plugs Boyer ignition.
Frame powder coated, Paintwork refinished. Brembo front brakes, Koni shocks, Stainless steel spokes with alloy rims, Continental Classic Attack Radial tyres. Brightwork re-chromed or polished.
Complete with period BMW panniers, tools, owners manual, two sets of keys, MOTs and Service documents, including full description and invoices from the rebuild.
New Battery, upgraded starter motor and left handlebar switch assembly.
Bike Maintained by Mike at Stroud Motorcycle Company. This machine was rebuilt without regard for expense by the Previous owner to create an example of the best twin shock RT. All this makes a real difference to its handling and torque.
It is a real head-turner and has received many appreciative comments when recently shown at the Airhead gathering at the Sammy Miller museum.
The reason I am selling is I have 3 other bikes and I do not have time to ride it enough (and the special machine deserves to be ridden!)
