2004 Alfa Romeo 147 2. 0 T Spark Lusso Selespeed

Offered for sale is this 147 which has effectively had 1 owner since new. It was first registered on 8th April 2004 as a pre-reg and then purchased by it’s single and only owner on 13th April 2004 until now. RX04 KPK was used as a daily car until around 2011 when unfortunately, the owner passed away and as a result the car had been stored away since until now, when his wife offered the car for sale all these years later.
I cannot emphasise enough what a solid example this 147 is, with no usual rot anywhere to be seen. It has been a London car and has been stored on a driveway, so the underside is very good with no rot. The entire car still wears its original paintwork. The interior is practically as new with all the leather in wonderful condition with no marks to be seen. The inside is finished off with a great specification including heated seats, Bose sound system, CD changer, automatic climate control air conditioning and cruise control.
Admittedly, this car now needs some love and time taken to bring it back to its former glory, with a full service including cambelt, tyres and brakes being needed after being stood since 2011 and some attention looking at the driver’s window regulator. As a result, this car has not been on the road since 2011 and currently does not have an MOT. This is being sold as seen as a project and will need to be trailered away.
I would like to emphasise that after some fuel and a new battery, the car runs, drives, maintains operating temperature and I have had the car up to gear 3 on private land. The engine sounds wonderful, but I have not started it or used it since being trailered away under my possession as I am aware the cambelt has not been changed since the car was parked up in 2011.
The car has all books and manuals present and some service history and invoices and 1 key.
I got the car very recently with all the best intentions of bringing it back to its former glory having never owned an Alfa and wanting to try something different, but now realise I prefer German marque cars.
I have priced this very conservatively for the mileage and condition. With some time taken on it, it will easily be a £5-£6k example.
