Description
MGB GT. Extremely good bodywork, resprayed about 6 years ago with little use since. With resprayed wheels, new tyres, mechanically sound, overdrive, good chrome and stainless exhaust. Tidy interior.
Fairly comprehensive history folder. Difficult to find a better one. Ready for immediate regular use.
Maintained all its life with fairly comprehensive history file.,
Since purchasing the following work has been done.
Interior, kept original but fitted with new door cards and interior panels, new seat belts and general tidying up.
Mechanics, new clutch slave and master cylinders, added a brake servo, slotted and drilled front discs and a 3/ 4 inch anti-roll bar.
Electrics, new halogen headlamps, electric washers, relays to all main lighting circuits, wired for spot and fog lamps (only the later fitted), 12v and usb sockets back and front.
Having hs=ad several MGBs over the years I bought it as an 80th birthday present to myself some two years ago, spent a year sorting it out. Upon completion found it impossible to get the seating comfortable for my right hip and have only done about 4 miles trying various alterations to no avail.
Hence the sale at a loss, part exchange with a similar age saloon considered, anything from a MG ZB Magnette, 60's Riley 1. 5 to a Rover P5 considered with cash either way.
