This is a showstopper 1960 Land Rover series 2, in fantastic condition throughout. It has just undergone a complete back to the frame nut and bolt rebuild with absolutely no expense spared. This stunning piece of moving art now boasts several upgrades from your standard early land rover, like a full galvanised chassis, a fully rebuild 2. 25 petrol engine and a full set of Parabolic springs and new hydraulic shocks which transform the drivability of the once tired old truck to an easy everyday cruiser.
During the Land Rovers restoration, it has boasted many new parts, with no stone unturned. The donor vehicle for this rebuild was very tired and missing almost every key component, bar the axles, bulkhead, gearbox and its original chassis in a very sorry state. What you see here is an ‘off the shelf’ truck. With 90% of the parts being brand new or new old stock.
The overall rebuild took around 3000 hours to complete
