1993 Eunos Roadster NA (Mk1) 1. 6 S Special in Black.
First registered 1/ 4/ 1993,. Registered in UK 13/ 8/ 2004.
Current mileage is 69, 649 miles (112, 091 kms).
It passed it, s MOT on 1/ 6/ 2024 with no advisories and has covered no mileage since. All previous paper MOT, s available to verify mileage.
My wife and I are the only owners since it was imported into the UK 20 years ago, almost to the day. We are both mature owners, now in our 60's and are finding that aches/ pains are getting more, so the car is no longer ideal for us, hence lack of use over the past few years. We have agonised as to whether we should sell for some time, but , regretfully for us we have decided to let it go.
It has covered 13, 143 miles (21, 153kms) in our 20 year of ownership, equating to an average of 657 miles a year, although some years it will have covered nil mileage. It has always been driven conservatively, not 'ragged', but that is not to say it hasn't been given the revs on a nice straight from time to time.
We bought it from a local gentleman who was starting his own import business at the time.
It has been well looked after, having never seen rain during our ownership and only taxed and used during the Summer months and always put back in a warm dry heated garage after every use. In the Winter months it was kept up on stands in the garage.
It has loads of receipts for work done over the years.
The car is totally rust free, apart from light surface rust on some of the suspension arms. It has had no welding or bodywork repairs during our ownership and no evidence that I can see of anything prior to our tenure. Cills etc are solid.
The paintwork is very good/ excellent. Some minor marks, couple of dings from idiots in car parks opening doors against it. It comes up to a lovely shine just with normal hand polishing. There are a few swirl marks and blemishes but these do not detract from the overall appearance and are hard to see. An original unmolested car that would make a nice show car as it stands.

Engine oil and filter renewed. Diff and gearbox oil levels checked.

New Radiator fitted, coolant renewed. Hoses renewed.
26/ 4/ 23 69552 miles.
New clutch assembly fitted, new spigot bearing, new clutch slave cylinder and braided, stainless flexi pipe. New camshaft angle sensor 'O' ring.
8/ 6/ 2018 68454 miles.
New thermostat housing and thermostat. Timing belt and ancillary belts Replaced whilst stripped. Cooling system flushed. New temperature fan switch.
7/ 7/ 2014 66412 miles.
New brake discs and pads all round.
29/ 2/ 2008 66242 miles.
New camshaft belt kit, inc tensioner pulley, idler pulley, tensioner spring, ancillary belts. New water pump.
These are the more major items that have been done since our ownership. I have numerous receipts for other service items/ accessories, too many to list.
The car is as near to how we originally purchased it with the S Special spec consisting of:
Bilstein suspension and yellow strut brace.
Original 14 Inch BBS Alloys complete with all centre caps and BBS spanner, all in excellent condition(driver side front alloy has a couple of small scuffs).
4 Very good matching Bridgestone Turanza tyres with loads of tread left.
Original Nardi Leather steering wheel and matching gear knob.
Original S Special floor mats in very good condition.
Stainless Roadster cill plates. Stainless teardrop speaker surrounds (new speakers fitted shortly after purchase).
Factory fitted JDM rear boot spoiler.
Power steering, electric windows, Air Con (although this needs re gassing).
Electric Ariel. This stopped working approx 8 weeks ago. The motor can still be heard to run so will require repair/ replacement.
Original Tonneau cover and bag in VGC
Original spare wheel, never fitted to car, with cover . All in VGC.
Single DIN Panasonic CD/ Radio/ USB/ SD player with phone connectivity. (Original JDM 3 DIN unit will also come with car).
Mesh wind blocker ( original perspex 'Roadster' wind blocker will come with car also).
Some chrome trim has been added around the dash areas to lift the otherwise black cockpit (see photos).
Original black dials replaced with white. Originals also with car.
Stainless style bar fitted.
Polished cam cover (original also with car)
Stainless front radiator grill.
Interior and cloth seats are all in excellent condition. No wear to be seen on bolsters etc.
Under bonnet, and boot also extremely clean, never forgotten when washed and polished.
Vinyl roof is in excellent condition, no rips/ tears. The perspex rear screen has a few scuffs on it from being folded. It is totally serviceable and waterproof.
This is a genuine unmolested car, no silly mods etc and would be nice as a Summer pose/ show car as is.
