Description
Engine and gearbox are running very well. Car starts no issues. Brakes work fine. From standard a temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and radio have been fitted. I never got around to fitting an Ariel for the radio though so only plays from Bluetooth. Driving the car is sure to put a smile on your face. The exhaust has been replaced as have the front wings and various bits of chrome. Under sealed underneath with surprisingly little rust for a car of her age.
Bad bits:
The main one as you can probably see is the fibre glass repair sheets that have been plastered over the inner driver's side wing. They should really be scraped off and will probably require some welding to repair what is underneath (I haven't been brave enough to look).
The drivers door says down slightly when opened. Probably related to the inner wing issue.
The paint job is pretty bad on the new wings. This is my fault for thinking I'd be able to paint the new wings I installed. Doesn't affect the running of the car but if you want it show ready I'd consider a respray.
The bonnet has a dent in it near the latch. I'm told this was done by someone when the latch seized to try and get it open.
Tires are starting to see sidewall cracking.
There's a tear at the back of the driver's seat.
Despite the above she is fun to drive. MOT tax and ulez exempt. Cheap to insure. Ready to drive away. Selling as I recently got a dog and she's not getting the time she deserves.
£4500 ONOShe's a moggie. Everyone loves a moggie. Driving down the road you'll get lots of smiles from people. If someone was willing to do the work she could be a real looker.
