• In 2008 the car was declared a Category C (often shortened to 'Cat C') accident vehicle which meant the insurer had deemed the cost of accident repair to exceed the value of the vehicle. It was confirmed to me -by the Dealer who serviced and subsequently sold the car in 2009 -that in this case the damage was non-structural from a low speed car parking shunt causing some cosmetic damage to the rear of the car and boot lid . The car was subsequently repaired by the owner (including a full respray) and declared roadworthy by DVLA. The car has since then passed all MOT’s without related issue.

-the last (prior to me) a Jaguar/ Daimler enthusiast who owned the car from 3/ 9/ 2013 to 21/ 02/ 2020 with a relatively low mileage.
This particular vehicle has thus been very well kept, with an extensive service history including being garaged indoors from new, and this reflects in the exterior , interior and overall mechanical conditions. I had a full mechanical inspection by a Jaguar Specialist prior to my purchase on 21/ 02/ 2020 which confirmed the excellent mechanical and bodily condition of the car.
