Description
My 1954 Riley RME 1. 5 litre did 60000 miles before taken to Jersey in 1986. In 2016 it was fully restored professionally by Le Riche Automobiles. It returned to the mainland in 2017 having done only 2000 miles in Jersey and was used occasionally as a wedding car until I bought it in 2022.
It is still in excellent condition and drives beautifully.
New tyres, brakes overhauled and ethanol friendly fuel line fitted in 2022.
The paintwork has a few small blemishes but generally is in good condition.
The green leather seats are in good condition but with one tiny tear at the back of the drivers.
All instruments work as they should except the clock which stops when not used. I bought this car because it is a beautiful 50’s car which is very comfortable and can keep up with modern traffic.
I drove a 170 mile round trip to the Riley National RM rally in 2023 with no issues.
History file of parts renewed.
