Description
We have owned this car since 1989 and in that time restored to its current condition. It is standard with the exception of the wheels and mildly tuned engine, which has the following: bored to 1340, balanced bottom end, Kent cam, Maniflow manifold and exhaust system, Aldon electronic ignition and KN filter, built by Midget specialist Bob Neville, making for very responsive performance.
Originally a hire car on the channel isles the car was imported to the mainland in 1979 and maroon in colour when we purchased, in 1992 the car was subject to a significant restoration with majority NOS panels including bonnet front wings, grill and reinstated to its original basilica blue colour.
In 2015 it had an engine out respray, also new hood and bumpers, and most recently new fuse box, and clutch slave, and master cylinder. Comes with loads of receipts.
We are now selling the Midget having had many years of fun with it, to buy a more suitable car for touring Europe .
