BMW 316i E30 Tourer, Automatic, 1992 (K reg), 100, 000 miles, 4 previous owners, metallic burgundy with grey velour trim, e/ windows, e/ mirrors, e/ sunroof, c/ locking, abs, p/ steering, adj/ st/ column, 15"BBS alloy wheels.
Genuine late model with the plastic bumpers and smiley headlights. Been in the family for over 17yrs.
The car is completely solid and rot free, it has never been welded or repaired anywhere, never accident damaged, and still has all it's original panels - paint - and underneath protection from the factory, and panel gaps are all good too.
It has got a few dinks - scrapes and scratches around it... (please zoom in on pics for a good look), and the lacquer has started to peel on the bonnet and the roof... so it will need some light repairs and paintwork to make it immaculate again.
I believe the colour was a special order.
The car was taken off the road and declared sorn in Oct 2023 due to getting a smaller cheaper car to run. It has not been used for 10months, starts runs and drives ok, but would probably be due a service, the MOT is still valid until Oct 2024.
The mileometer stopped working properly in 2020 at around 84k... so we estimate the mileage to be around 100k now.
All the electrics work ok.
The interior is all very good apart from the base part of the two front seats which have gone thread-bare (common problem on BMW's). The headlining has also sagged in the middle but is not damaged. It still has it's original pull out luggage cover and blind at the back.
The original BMW spare wheel, first aid kit and complete tool kit are present and have never been used.
It has a JVC face-off stereo fitted.
It has a part service history, there are quite a few old mot certificates and some servicing receipts along with original BMW handbooks & service book in BMW wallet.
The wheels are genuine 15" BBS, they would benefit from a re-furb, one of them has a dent in the outer rim but is not leaking.
All in all... a good original car that will make a nice light renovation job either kept original or to modify.
