Starting life in Rome 1963, this car, affectionatly known as known as ‘Bella’, was imported by myself in 2012 and has been lovingly maintained since. The car was owned by an enthusiast before me and was clearly lovingly maintained when I bought the car. The car has been used in photoshoots with Jo Malone, Bella Italia, Next and also been on stage in the West end :)
Recently I decided to tidy up overhaul the engine and rear of the car, the engine and gearbox (F) were rebuilt and powder coated along with the wishbones springs and brakes. The car is in amazing condition throughout. A fantastic example of this classic D with the sucide doors (which I also had checked and repainted). The condition of the car is super solid with little or no rust on the usual weakspots (footwells, doors, sills, wheel arches) etc. viewing is welcomed and even encouraged. Downsizing has forced the sale, I was going to convert the car to a full mohair 'Transformarbile' and have the frame to make the convertion, and would be happy to carry out the work if a buyer was interested. This car is a real eyecatcher and always raises smiles and comes with a cherished numberplate.
