RX12LWK – VSY570 (off a London Transport double decker bus ..!!)
First registered 1st August 2012 but hardly used by me and the previous owner (who I know personally and commissioned the build) He became too unwell to ride so it was dried stored from 2016 until I bought it in June 2021
Specification
• Less than 1700 miles
• Engine is a 107cu ‘in Ultima HD Engine V Twin. It has a 4” inch bore with a 4. 25” stroke. So not lumpy this was completely stripped, soda blasted and ceramic coated, then rebuilt to enhance the look of the bike.
• 25mm off set primary drive, this keeps the engine central in the frame, so the balance is great, it takes corners very easily.
• 2” inch open primary drive
• Custom exhaust and ceramic coated
• Six speed Baker gearbox – 1 down 5 up
• Frame is a heavily modified DAYTEC unit, the swingarm has been narrowed and lengthened to accommodate the 20” rear wheel – It rides very smoothly due to the long wheelbase
• Custom Seat
• Low level oil tank has had the filler swapped to the RHS for easier access.
• Forks are OHLINS 43mm Upside Down Units – Probably the best in the field.
• Custom Fork Trees
• Adjustable rear shock absorbers
• Brakes are PERFORMANCE MACHINE – Differential bore 4 pot matched pair on the front and 4 pot on the rear.
• Handlebar controls and clutch by PERFORMANCE MACHINE
• Wheels are German BIG SPOKE 23” inch front with Avon Cobra 130/ 60 and 20” inch rear 220/ 50
• MOTO GADGET – Speedo and rev counter is built into the custom handlebars.
• Internal throttles assemble – No visible cables.
• Twin fuel tanks
• GRIP ACE switches built into the LHS – No buttons or wires on show – Very cool..!!
• Front turn signals are wrapped around the front forks hardly visible until switched on.
• Rear light, brake lights, number plate holder and turn signals are all LED - Designed and built into a “dummy” custom exhaust pipe.
• NESS Headlamp
• 3D painted numbers on the tank and side pods – They look like they’re peeling off..!! But that how they’ve been painted..!!
• New Battery
• Trickle charger fly lead
• 2 x keys
• Decompression plungers for easier starting
• No shiny chrome to worry about
• Some Parts powder coated.
• Some parts ceramic coated.
• Last MOT expired 13/ 10/ 2023 and been in dry secure storage since September 23
• Currently on SORN
• May include the registration number depending on the price
• Very easy to clean.
This is a big bike, its nearly 3m long with 1m wide bars, But it’s easy to ride and you can happily throw around a corner. The heel of my boots will be testament to that..!! If you’re a shy, introverted type of person, you don’t want to have hordes of people looking at it or talking about it to you and a bike meets or café..?? You may want to just put it in your living room and look at it – It is a work of art..!!
