Connaught Green with Cream Leather Interior.
Black Mohair Hood, Tonneau and Side Screens.
Steel Wings, Galvanised Chassis and the later Rover R380 5 speed Gearbox.
The car is in very good condition and everything works as it should. I purchased it in 2015 from Morgan dealer Allon White Sports Cars Ltd and it has had one previous owner from new. There is a good history file with the car including details of the original order and final invoice for delivery.
In September last year the car had an extensive overhaul carried out by Morgan specialists, Stratton Motors. This included fitting a new replacement Aluminium Radiator, Engine Gaskets to cure minor oil leaks, Oil change to Engine, Gearbox and Differential and replacement Filters, Coil, Ignition Module and Harness. MOT until February 2025 with no advisories. New tyres were fitted all round in April this year.
The car has always been kept in the garage when not in use and I have very recently had a full machine polish of the paintwork carried out by a professional detailer.
We have used the car for several European Tours to Spain, France and Italy as well as trips to the Le Mans Classic event. In July 2024 we also toured around the Forest of Dean with the Morgan Sports Car Club. All completed without any fuss or drama. A large suitcase can be transported with ease on the rear luggage rack which is not the case with many 2 seater convertibles.
I have a small collection of mostly British Sports Cars including an Austin Healey 3000 which I have owned for the last 52 years. The Healey now requires some work and I need funds to carry it out as well as reducing car numbers to a more manageable level, hence this sale. Advancing age has not helped either.
I advertised the car earlier this year and had no enquiries. I have reduced the price to what I think is now a more realistic figure and hopefully attract your interest.
